Talk to a Doctor is delighted to announce the launch of our locum recruitment service. We also run a telephone and online medical advisory service Talk to a Doctor.co.uk. We are committed to raising awareness about the importance of immediate access to accurate medical advice for the general public. It aims to bring the provision of healthcare services into the 21st Century by using the latest information technology available on the phone and through the internet.

For the first time, people can ring straight through to a doctor at a time that suits them, with none of the usual barriers. Now callers can get straight through to a GMC registered doctor, without having to negotiate their way past receptionists, secretaries or nurses.

Talk to a Doctor is the only fully licensed group to provide medical information in this way, after the following organisations were independently consulted: Department of Health, the General Medical Council, and the British Medical Association. This took place prior to our being issued with the license.

Talk to a Doctor is proud of the 18 months spent developing the service, so that confidential, friendly and non- judgemental, professional medical advice can be guaranteed.

All doctors at Talk to a Doctor are individually interviewed and are fully qualified UK based doctors, who are Criminal Records Bureau checked and GMC registered.
